We’ve answered thousands of author emails over the years—these are the questions that come up again and again. If you’re serious about getting a professional book design that actually sells, read this first. It’ll save us both some time, and might even save you from making a few costly mistakes.

Book Cover Design

What services do you offer?
We design professional book covers (ebook and print), format interiors for print and ebook platforms, and create promo materials like banners and Amazon A+ content. Everything is tailored to make your book stand out—and sell.

Fill out the order form on our website. You’ll give us the details, pay a 50% deposit, and we’ll handle the rest. If forms aren’t your thing, just email us. There’s no waiting list, so you can place your order any time.

You’ll get initial concepts (Between 1 and 4 depending on your package), unlimited revisions, high-res final files for all platforms, and a team that knows what a good cover actually looks like.

Yes. Once the project is complete and paid for, the rights to the final design are yours (with some minor limitations). We don’t claim royalties or ongoing usage rights.

First drafts are usually ready in 10–14 days. We also have a rush option for an additional fee. Revisions and final delivery depend on how fast you give feedback, but most projects wrap up within a few weeks.

We offer unlimited revisions, and we’re not precious about our work. If you’re still unhappy, we’ll refund your deposit. Simple as that.
Yes. If you’re not ready for print, we can start with ebook only. You can always add the print layout later.
No problem. We can start with the front cover and do the interior formatting once the manuscript is final, or finish off the paperback whenever you’re ready. Just don’t keep us waiting for six months—we get grumpy.
Yes, sometimes—but never for full covers or text, and ALWAYS with your approval. Think of it as a smart assistant, not the driver.
We’ve done covers for bestselling authors, top traditional publishers, and first-time indie writers. Our work isn’t cheap, but it looks like it belongs on a bookstore shelf—and that matters.
Yes. Just send the covers and we’ll design to match the existing series. Or, if you’d rather upgrade the whole look, we can do that too.
Yes. If you come back to us for additional covers in a series (after the first one), we can offer a discount on those designs.

You’ll get print-ready PDFs, high-res JPEGs, PNGs for marketing, and the source Photoshop files if requested. For interiors, we provide PDF and EPUB files.
Yes, yes, and yes. Once your main cover is complete, we can create matching versions for any format.
No. But we make sure your files meet the specs for Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, and other major platforms. We’ll walk you through the process if needed.
If the layout shifts, it affects the spine width, and as the print cover is one full design, it may result in an additional layout fee.

Interior Formatting

What types of interior formatting do you offer?
We format both print and ebook versions of your manuscript. For ebooks, you’ll receive EPUB and MOBI files. For print, you’ll get a print-ready PDF that meets standard specs for KDP, IngramSpark, and most major or local printers.
We’ll deliver the first draft of your formatted interior within 14 days of receiving your final manuscript and completed order. We also have a rush option for an additional fee.
For ebooks: EPUB (for all devices) and MOBI (for older Kindle). For print: PDF, customized to your trim size, paper color, and printer.
We offer a grace round if it’s under 10 words. After that, edits are $1 each, with a $15 minimum per round. Edits must be submitted via our Edit Control Document.
We can, but we don’t recommend it. Exporting from PDF often breaks formatting, especially across page breaks. We’ll either charge for the extra fix-up time or send you a messy Word file to clean up first.
Not a good idea. Formatting is the last step, not a moving target. We need your final, edited, and proofread manuscript before we start.
Yes. We can handle the cover design and formatting in parallel—or in sequence if your manuscript isn’t ready yet.
Yes. Just make sure you include them in the briefing form. Additional fees may apply depending on the complexity.
We love a little flair. Decorative elements can be added for an extra $50 per format (print or ebook).
Yes. Pricing depends on complexity, so contact us for a quote.
Drop caps don’t display well across all devices, so we usually avoid them in ebook files to ensure consistent readability.
Yes. Our print-ready PDFs are compatible with most professional printers worldwide. Just let us know if yours has special requirements.

Place your order online using our order form, and upload your manuscript. We’ll take it from there. If you want a quote for extras like indexing or custom layouts, email us first.

Not usually, but if you have a big batch or ongoing work, get in touch—we’ll consider it.
That depends on your trim size, font choice, spacing, and any images or tables. We can’t give you an exact count until formatting is complete.
